AT LAST
An original short film about anticipation, buildup and the sweet relief of finally reaching the finish line.
To announce the launch of my new website I created a promotional short film ‘AT LAST’ to spread the word and drum up some excitement. After all, condensing a decade’s worth of work into a portfolio was a personal milestone and felt worthy of a little spectacle.
The film depicts a string of snapshots from everyday life that all revolve around the palpable anticipation of reaching the finish line. Underscoring this sense of satisfaction through the use of candylike colors, bold compositions and slick hand drawn animation. Everything beautifully tied together with the electric sound design created by my good friends Sounds Like These.

The film was a cathartic exploration of the tension, occasional agony, and ultimate relief of reaching your goal. Whether that is finally launching your website or squeezing into a pair of slim fits.
