Being part of a big collaboration between the team at Animade, Bit Studio and Sennep to create the app Ho Jeng AR for Google Hong Kong was really exciting. By scanning culturally symbolic objects like milk tea or neon signs you were able to unlock six charming AR characters.
I was in charge of directing the animation, shaping the different personalities and building up a rich animation library of emotes and actions that was unique to each of them. Mixing endearing, fun and unexpected moments for a truly captivating interactive experience, making you want to scan and poke them until your battery runs out!
